Manchester United have completed the signing of Mame Biram Diouf from Molde F.K

When someone told him that Manutd would like to sign him… he though that it is a joke. But… the truth has finally came when Manutd signed him for real.

Another unknown player from Molde FK will surely remind us of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that also came from Molde FK and became a legend at Manutd.

The 21-year-old passed a medical in Manchester this week, and has completed his transfer. As agreed, he will now be loaned back to Molde F.K until January 2010. So… we can only see him in Manutd shirt next year. Sorry guys!

Mame is a Senegalese striker and will becomes the Red Devils’ fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Antonio Valencia, Michael Owen and Gabriel Obertan.

He has scored 38 times in 73 appearances for Norwegian side Molde to date, including an impressive tally of 17 goals from 21 games so far this season.

He will be another player that can performs a summersault during his goal celebration just like Nani.

Micheal Owen given legendary No.7 shirt and set his debut against Malaysia XI!!

Hard to believe but..I think..he is good enough to be United No.7. I just can’t wait to see him make his debut against Malaysia XI this Saturday.

Micheal Owen, Gabriel Obertan and Valencia will be the only 3 Sir Alex Ferguson signing this season. There will be no more….!! Sir Alex is ready for next season challenge with current squad and he is set to give more important roles to Welbeck and Macheda!!

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who claimed that his summer business is done after unveiling new recruits Owen, Antonio Valencia and Gabriel Obertan this lunchtime, has handed former England striker Owen a two-year deal at Old Trafford after signing the free agent following his departure from Newcastle United earlier this month.

But with Owen set to make his United debut against a Malaysian XI in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, the 29-year-old, who has been handed the number seven shirt vacated by Cristiano Ronaldo, claims he is fit and ready to succeed at Old Trafford.

Owen, having made his name with United’s bitter rivals Liverpool, is one of a select few players to have crossed the divide by playing for both clubs. And he admits that wearing a United shirt is not something he expected to happen during his difficult time at Newcastle.

He said: “Over the last couple of years, I probably wouldn’t have expected to be sat here as a Manchester United player.

“I came here as a youngster, so it was always a possibility and you never know where you will go in your career, but it would have been dreaming if, over the last couple of years, I had dreamt of plying my trade here.

“As soon as United came in, though, every other set of talks was put on hold and the deal was wrapped up virtually straightaway. I still feel that I belong at a top club and I am delighted to be here.”
