My Manutd, Others

One more step to be the World Champion!

Gamba Osaka 3
Yamazaki (74), Endo (85), Hashimoto (90)
Man United 5
Vidic (28), Ronaldo (45), Rooney (75, 79), Fletcher (78)

After an impressive start by Gamba, United took the a foothold in the game when Ronaldo flashed a shot narrowly wide, before they took the lead from a set play with Vidic powering home a Giggs corner. Ronaldo then had a solo effort blocked as he searched for the second, and on the stroke of halftime it came when Ronaldo headed in another Giggs’ corner.

After a stagnant start to the second half, the match came back into life when Endo forced a top save from Van der Sar from a crashing free-kick. And the home crowd then went wild as Gamba put together a fine move which was stroked home by Masato Yamazaki. Sixty seconds later though United scored again, sub Wayne Rooney made an instant impact slotting home Fletcher’s through-ball. The match then turned into an attack-fest with United making the most of their chances, Evra and Nani linked up to play in Darren Fletcher for the fourth. And a minute later it was five, Wayne Rooney finishing expertly from a Giggs pass that completed a crazy five minute spell that saw four goals hit the net. Gamba pulled a goal back from the spot after Gary Neville handled in to box, Yashuhito Endo coolly finding the bottom corner. Hideo Hashimoto completed a thrilling match with an excellent strike inside Var der Sar’s near post.

An easy match for United. Gamba Osaka just no match at all although United still suffered a jet lag. After leading 2-0, United started to underestimate Gamba Osaka and play like idiot. Luckily, a goal from Yamazaki change United style of play and they started to play more serious to lead again 5-1 with a brace from Rooney. However… after that…United started to play like idiot again with too much confusing backheel!!!..

I hope they will never do it again in the final. Never underestimate Liga de Quito!!

United rules Manchester Again!

Man City 0 United 1

Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for the second time in a Manchester derby, but Wayne Rooney’s first-half strike was enough to hand United all three points at Eastlands. Ronaldo’s two yellow cards – the second for a bizarre deliberate handball – meant the Reds had to play the last 22 minutes with 10 men. But City didn’t threaten until stoppage time and United held on to claim a deserved derby-day win. Sir Alex’s men controlled the game from start to finish, proving class and ability on the pitch counts for far more than wealth and ambition off it. Certainly, when City’s new owners took over in the summer, expectations in the blue half of Manchester rose astronomically. Almost immediately, the owners outlined a wish to win the Champions League within just three years. On the evidence of the 151st Manchester derby, however, City still have a lot of work to do – Manutd.com.

After back2back defeat last season, Manutd is back with a comfortable win against City. Although United fully control the match but bizarre red card for Ronaldo puzzled me a lot. Its hard to explain why Ronaldo hold the ball when he had a good chance for a clear header. I suspect he heard a whistle and would like to stop the match…but it is still weird.

Do Robinho played last night??…hahahaha… the only mark that he left in last night match is the mark at Van der Sar leg! hahaha

Overall, I am still worried with United performances this season due to lack of goals. There’re a lot of chances in every United matches but the goal is hard to come by…

Lexus Hybrid Car for PFA

Do you know that Lexus has given four Lexus RX 400h vehicles to the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) in order to help raise awareness of the hybrid cars among its players?? This Lexus has been tipped as the world’s first premium SUV to feature a hybrid power system and it comes equipped with the Lexus Hybrid Drive. What make it even better, this system enables the car to clock up to 62 mph in 7.6 seconds.

In the UK, the Lexus RX 400h hybrid car has beem sold for £35,810. The offer comes with the option of the Lexus Mulitmedia Pack which includes an 11 speaker Mark Levinson premium hi-fi, premium in-car entertainment twin DVD system and satellite navigation with touch screen control, said an auto industry news report.

The four players who will be using the hybrids would be Gareth Bale Tottenham Hotspur, Craig Gardiner Aston Villa, Micah Richards Manchester City and David Wheater Middlesbrough. Except Bale who has represented Wales, the players have donned the jersey for the England Under 21 squad at international level. No Manchester United player will be using this car… maybe because they already have their own car sponsorship with Audi.

Wonderful car…but I think…Audi is better!
