Transfer News

Manchester United have completed the signing of Mame Biram Diouf from Molde F.K

When someone told him that Manutd would like to sign him… he though that it is a joke. But… the truth has finally came when Manutd signed him for real.

Another unknown player from Molde FK will surely remind us of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that also came from Molde FK and became a legend at Manutd.

The 21-year-old passed a medical in Manchester this week, and has completed his transfer. As agreed, he will now be loaned back to Molde F.K until January 2010. So… we can only see him in Manutd shirt next year. Sorry guys!

Mame is a Senegalese striker and will becomes the Red Devils’ fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Antonio Valencia, Michael Owen and Gabriel Obertan.

He has scored 38 times in 73 appearances for Norwegian side Molde to date, including an impressive tally of 17 goals from 21 games so far this season.

He will be another player that can performs a summersault during his goal celebration just like Nani.

Friendly

Manchester United were beaten in Audi Cup final to Bayern Munich

A very good match considering in this kind of tournament.. every match is more like friendly match rather than the actual competition. Bayern Munich
Were the better team in the first half…but when second half started… the German powerhouse required nerves of steel to fend off Manutd attack in front of a sell-out crowd of 69,000 at their Allianz Arena after United strikers Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen missed great chances in the second half to win the match.

Bayern enjoyed the better of the first half, in which Mario Gomez and Dimitar Berbatov both hit the woodwork, but United then had the better opportunities after the interval – only for Rooney and Owen to fail to beat Bayern goalkeeper Michael Rensing in one-on-one situations.

The tackle on new signing Micheal Owen by Bayern’s Martin Demichelis was a major scare for Manutd fan and Sir Alex. If it had been a competitive match Demichelis would have received a red card. Then, the striker stayed on but was left holding his ankle as he tried to run the problem off.
He eventually went on to play until the 78th minute when he was replaced by Wayne Rooney.

Final score….
Both team failed to score in normal time and at the end..the epic penalty showdown has been won by Bayern Munich 7-6.

My Manutd, News

Manutd New Away Kit 2009/10 has been officially unveiled – It’s Black & Blue

Yeah…the LEAKED photo is almost correct again. Only the colour is actually BLACK & NOT GREY!!..

Like the club’s new red and white home strip, the black kit, which can be pre-ordered online now, features a special commemorative tag at the side of the shirt and large chevron across the chest, reflecting the design of the shirts worn by United when the team won its first FA Cup in 1909.

The black shorts have a blue stripe along the side, a red devil graphic on the back of the waist band, while the draw cords feature ‘MUFC’ on the tips. The black socks have a blue chevron on the calf.

The Reds will don the kit for the first time during Thursday’s Audi Cup match in Germany against either AC Milan or Bayern Munich.
