Champions League, My Manutd

Champions League Quarter Final Draw – Manutd meet Roma Again!

Champions League quarter-final draw:
1 Arsenal v Liverpool
2 AS Roma v Man Utd
3 Schalke 04 v FC Barcelona
4 Fenerbahce v Chelsea

Champions League semi-final draw:
1 Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea
2 Schalke/Barcelona v AS Roma/Man Utd

This is quite a tough draw for United. I always hope United could face other Premier League team because it will make it easier for United to become a Champion of Europe again! Hahaha..

No Roma player will forget what happen last season when they has been humiliated 7-1 at Old Trafford after leading 2-1 at Rome. That result will always haunted them until they managed to defeat United again.

When Roma has been drawn at the same group with United this season, they looked for a revenge..but..yeah…they loose again…and again…

Do you think facing United again for a revenge is really what Roma want?? I don’t think so.. they know that they can never defeat United. Their confident must be very low when facing United again because…. they know… United was too good for them!!

So, how about others match???

These were my prediction..

Arsenal will advance to semi final and facing Fenerbahce. They will defeat Fenerbahce and….do you know which team that they gonna face in the final???

Manchester United for sure!!

MANCHESTER UNITED 3
Brown 34, Ronaldo 79, Nani 81

LIVERPOOL 0

This result make me very happy to come to work the next morning because most of my colleagues were Liverpool’s fan… hahahaha..

For sure… nobody would like to go out for a breakfast with me because they know that I will laugh very hard for the result!!!

So thanks to a Portuguese one-two from Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani plus a rare Wes Brown goal gave United the perfect Easter gift and destroyed any lingering hopes Liverpool had of breaking into the title race.

After all the pre-match talk of great attacking players on the park, it was ironic that defender Brown delivered the telling first blow on a pivotal afternoon in the Premier League. But the main talking point in the media could be the same one that followed last week’s match between Chelsea and Spurs – the relationship between referees and players.

For Chelsea’s Ashley Cole and ref Mike Riley, read Javier Mascherano and Steve Bennett – but don’t believe the hype that Liverpool’s midfield hardman lost the match as well as his temper. The storm that probably had teacups flying in the away dressing room couldn’t mask the fact United were as superior to Liverpool on the day as they have been this season. And last season, and the season before that…
