No more somersault from Nani for Manutd

If you’re watching Manutd vs Guongzhou, you might realized that Nani didn’t do his trademark somersault any more after scoring a goal.

It is because due to Fergie’s advice by dropping his trademark somersault celebration to avoid any freak injuries.

The Portugal winger’s goal, United’s second in a comfortable win over the Chinese Second Division outfit, brought a touch of class to proceedings.

The ex-Sporting Lisbon ace terrorized his marker before sending a sublime chip over the keeper’s head which bounced in off the far post.

Nani opted merely to race away in delight pursued by a gaggle of team-mates.
Who’s your signing of the summer?

By that stage, United were already in front thanks to Rooney’s clinically executed penalty.

A third arrived in splendid fashion seven minutes after the restart when Lee Martin belted home a long-range effort.

Fergie said: “I’ve been pleased with all of the goals, it is confidence building for the new season when you go into a pre-season game and get that tempo and rhythm.

“Nani needs a lot of work - he has not had a lot of endurance work but there will be plenty of games for him before the season starts.”

Ferguson will return home aiming to conclude the signing of Carlos Tevez.

He added: “I just hope the Tevez thing is concluded quickly, we all hope for that. That is the main issue for us.”

Pre Season - Guangzhou 0 Manchester United 3

United’s pre-season tour of Asia ended with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Guangzhou Pharmaceutical in the Guangdong Olympic Stadium, with strikes from Wayne Rooney, Nani and Lee Martin.

Injuries to Ryan Giggs, Edwin van der Sar, Owen Hargreaves and Cristiano Ronaldo meant Sir Alex was able to hand Lee Martin and Tomasz Kuszczak their first pre-season starts, while youngsters Phil Bardsley, Danny Simpson and Darron Gibson also gained starting berths.

After looking at this Nani’s 2nd match, I think..I would like to change my mind about this guy!…he seems so dangerous. Hopefully, he can continue in Premier League next!

Transfer News

Ryan Giggs and Wes Brown might stay!

I hope Ryan Giggs will keep playing for Manutd and they will offer him a new contract. He’s still a really good player. His brilliant passes to Rooney against Shenzhen last night prove it!

David Gill are confident that the duo will stay at Old Trafford.

‘We haven’t spoken to Ryan yet. We’re always relaxed about Ryan because we trust him and he trusts us,’ he said.
