Manutd 3rd signing - Manutd get Liverpool Legend for FREE!

Welcome to Micheal Owen!

Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has signed Michael Owen on a two-year contract. The striker was out of contract, so no transfer fee is involved.

Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Michael is a world class forward with a proven goalscoring record at the highest level and that has never been in question. Coming to Manchester United with the expectations that we have is something that Michael will relish.”

How does he feel to have signed for Manchester United?

It feels great. I never even had it in my wildest dreams really but then I got the call from the manager to come and meet him. It was a shock but I’m obviously really happy and things have moved quickly since then.

It’s early days but when you think about United, you automatically think about winning trophies, the stadium, the massive fanbase. Until you sign, you don’t let yourself get carried away. I literally signed about ten minutes ago so no doubt I’ll drive home in my car now and I won’t sleep tonight thinking about all the top players I’m going to play alongside, about the manager, the fans, the atmosphere at Old Trafford and everything else. So there’s a lot to think about and a lot to get excited about.

I hope he will prove all the critic wrong and score a lot of goal for United.

Micheal Owen shock move to Manutd??

I am very surprise after reading the news. After losing Karim Benzema ..then Manutd almost in a brink to sign Micheal Owen?? Its hard to relate between those 2 players. But…if Manutd can confirm the signing of Owen..then its only mean that next season will be a different ball game for Manutd.

This is not the first time Sir Alex doing a strange signing. When he signed Eric Cantona..its weird. Then..he signed Laurent Blanc is another shock signing. When his young striker cannot perform well, he signed Henrik Larrson for only 3 months and its bring the title to United. Some signing proves as Sir Alex masterpieces but another..a big flop. The mother of all masterpiece signing is Cristiano Ronaldo as United number 7. Bringing the unknown..give him number 7 and he end up as Best Player in the World.

I have read some Manutd blog and most them don’t want to accept Owen at Manutd. But….for me.. this is a good signing. I would love to see Owen as the Red Devil.I don’t care about him as ex-Liverpool captain and what he said about Manutd before as long as he can score goal for United.

Furthermore, if he performed well next season and help United win 19th title…I can give a big laugh to my fellow Liverpool’s fan. Hahaha. But if he didn’t perform…there are nothing to lose. We get him for FREE!!

MICHAEL Owen will sign for Manchester United on a free transfer today, provided he passes a medical - an astonishing turnaround in fortunes for the striker who was relegated with Newcastle United only weeks ago.

On top of the prospect of winning medals with the Premiership champions at Old Trafford, the chance to pair up with Wayne Rooney will give Owen hope he can revitalise his England career.

He has been exiled by Fabio Capello, the head coach, but England is short of proven strikers with the World Cup finals less than 12 months away, and Owen could force his way back into the reckoning if he succeeds at United.

Owen, 29, joined the unemployed on Wednesday, when his contract at Newcastle expired, and his agents were so concerned about the lack of interest they sent a brochure to Premier League managers setting out his strengths.

Liverpool, his former club, was among those that showed no interest, despite being approached by Owen’s agent, Tony Stephens. And two days earlier Sam Allardyce had said a deal would be too risky for Blackburn Rovers because of Owen’s injury record.

But Alex Ferguson has decided it is a gamble worth taking, and one with minimal downside, given that Owen joins as a free agent.

Ferguson is hopeful Owen’s big-match temperament will yield a glut of goals at Old Trafford.

There are something in Sir Alex Ferguson minds right now that we don’t know. I hope he doing it right this time!!

My Manutd, Transfer News

Read this and I am starting to like Ronaldo again.

I am not the fan of Ronaldo although he is one of the most important player that helped United won Premier League titles 3 times in a row, Champions League and officially the World Champion last season.

I started to hate him when he started to flirt with Real Madrid and I believe a disloyal player like him don’t deserve to play for United with Ryan Giggs.

But…today.. I think that he is not as bad as I think and I am going to miss him next season.

Good bye Cristiano Ronaldo. Be a virus and ruin Real Madrid from the inside..

Ronaldo told Shortlist magazine: “I will miss the boss.”

“Sir Alex has taught me so much on and off the field. I could not have asked for a better mentor.”

“I will always owe him a lot and will never forget him.”

“He made me aware from the start that I would be one of the best players in the world; he gave me that belief.”

“When you are 17, you are just concerned about playing first-team football – you don’t think about being the best, but Sir Alex gave me the No 7 shirt because he believed I could do it justice.”

“I can never repay the confidence he has shown in me over the years, and all the support he has given me in my journey to become the best.”

He continued: “I will also miss all the lads; the squad had a great atmosphere. I had a very special relationship with Wayne (Rooney) on and off the field.”

“I have made some good friends with the players and all the staff, but it is time for me to move on now.”

“I have a sentimental attachment; I have spent a quarter of my life here. I was boy when I arrived at Manchester United and I’m leaving a man.”

“This club and its fans will always have a place in my heart. I have learnt a lot of life lessons here, and I will never forget all the things I have been taught by so many people.”

Yeah..he really respect Sir Alex Ferguson. Not like Carlos Teves that started to talk bad thinks about Sir Alex after he is leaving. The fan always behind Teves but he don’t care about the fan and United . Compared with Ronaldo…the fan hates him but he still talk a good think about the fan and United..
He even made a flying visit to Manchester to meet his “second father” for a nice dinner with him at his favorite restaurant.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a flying visit to Manchester to say goodbye to his old boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The star striker got a private jet from Portugal for a discreet meal with the United manager, who he called his “second father”.

They met at one of Sir Alex’s favourite restaurants in the swish Alderley Edge Hotel, just a few hundred yards from Ronaldo’s former home in Cheshire.

Maybe..that is why he is the best player in the World! Thanks for that 80million pound!!
